The consequences we bear is,
No matter how much our eyes are wide open,
Our lips remains locked,
Because we vow in return of answers,
We cannot help, but only guide.
That is our purpose.
The saddest part is when it is all over,
Positive that everything will be alright,
In return for your substitution,
We leave with a smile, maybe a smirk.
That is our exchange.
Because after all,
A single flower no matter how clear,
Will remain different from the rest,
And then it slowly dries,
... withers,
... crumbles,
... truly ugly.
That's why it's disgusting.
That's why it's not deserving.
That's why we disappear without people realising.
Because our work is done.
That is our accomplishment.
So, is it worth it?
Maybe to you.
This is the prologue of a never ending story.
If you understood, then prove my perception wrong.
